WWE Raw was reportedly once again the subject of timing issues, with Vince McMahon unhappy that the opening segment of the show overran.

The 31 May episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off with a Miz TV segment that saw The Miz and John Morrison interview both Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair. The in-ring interview segued into a match between Flair and Nikki Cross.

According to PWInsider, that opening segment went around eight to ten minutes longer than it had been initially allocated, forcing WWE officials to shave time from other matches and segments in the show.

WWE Chairman McMahon was reportedly particularly unhappy with having to take time away from other aspects of this past week's Raw. It has been noted that, while nothing that was initially scheduled to be on Raw had to be completely cut, several segments were shuffled around to different times in the broadcast in order to accommodate the overrun.

It has been noted that the main event, which put Drew McIntyre against Kofi Kingston, did not appear to have any of its time cut back and was always scheduled to be the last match of the show.
