First Matches Announced For ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024

Ring of Honor’s next pay-per-view event Death Before Dishonor is just a few weeks away, with the show set for Arlington, Texas on July 26.

So far two matches have been announced for the event, with the ROH Women’s World Championship and Women’s TV Championship set to be contested on the show.

Record-setting Women’s World Champion Athena has been out of action since May, but it was announced on the July 4 edition of ROH TV that she will put the title on the line against Queen Aminata at Death Before Dishonor. Athena is claiming injury in an effort to avoid defending the title, but it seems by hook or by crook Athena will face Aminata at DBD.

Athena’s ‘minion’ Billie Starkz will also be in action on the PPV, with the inaugural Women’s TV Champion set to put the belt on the line against Red Velvet. Starkz won the title with victory over Queen Aminata at Supercard of Honor in April.

ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta went to a time-limit draw against Lee Moriarty on July 4, meaning Moriarty will receive a future title shot. Whilst not confirmed yet, it seems likely the clash will happen at Death Before Dishonor.
