Five-Team Gauntlet Match For Vacant NXT Tag Team Titles Announced For Tonight's NXT 2.0
The WWE NXT Tag Titles are set to have new owners on tonight's show.
This week's episode of WWE NXT will see a five-way gauntlet match for the vacant NXT Tag Team Championship.
The teams involved are the Creed Brothers, Grayson Waller and Sanga, Legado del Fantasma, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, and newcomers Pretty Deadly.
The titles were vacated last week following the release of Nash Carter, one half of champions MSK, after allegations of domestic abuse from former partner Kimber Lee. No mention has been made of Carter on WWE TV - or of tag partner Wes Lee, who is still with the company.
MSK only recently won the titles, defeating the Creed Brothers and previous champions Imperium at NXT Stand and Deliver.
There is an existing feud built into this week's match, as Pretty Deadly recently revealed themselves to be the masked tormentors of the Creeds, trashing their gym and attacking them on last week's NXT.
The British tag team - now under new ring names Elton Prince and Kit Wilson - recently switched from NXT UK to NXT.
