Flip Gordon Signs With CMLL

Flip Gordon joins CMLL

Flip Gordon is under contract with a promotion once again.

The former Being the Elite regular had been a free agent since Ring of Honor went on hiatus at the end of 2021, with ROH not bringing Gordon back after Tony Khan purchased the promotion. Gordon has spent the past couple of years wrestling on the indies and for the National Wrestling Alliance but he now has a new home.

Gordon has been teasing signing with a promotion in recent weeks and his tease earlier this week featured hats for WWE, AEW, and the rap group NWA. He won't be appearing for WWE or AEW, though, and Gordon has instead put pen to paper on a deal with CMLL

Gordon will make his return to CMLL tonight when he teams with Mistico and Mascara Dorada to take on the team of Volador Jr, Titan, and Star Jr. Gran Guerrero is also set to defend his CMLL World Heavyweight Title against Euforia at the same event.

Gordon previously wrestled sporadically for CMLL in 2017 and 2018. The promotion recently formed a working relationship with AEW that saw Mistico make his AEW debut.
