Former Braun Strowman Appears At ROH Final Battle

2021 has been a strange year

The Titan (formerly Braun Strowman) made a surprise appearance at ROH's Final Battle on Saturday night in Baltimore.

Following an eight-man tag between Violence Unlimited and The Foundation, EC3 took the mic and implored the wrestlers to "control their narrative". Brian Johnson took exception to EC3 saying his name, and confronted him over it.

Wesley Blake and a hooded individual stood at the top of the aisle as EC3 continued to speak. He then said, "Free the Titan", as the former Strowman suddenly emerged. He, EC3, Blake, and the other man laid out Johnson and several other individuals, one of whom was Eli Isom (whom Titan carried off).

Strowman was released from WWE on June 2, as part of a group of six cuts. He'd last wrestled for the company at WrestleMania Backlash on May 16, as part of a three way WWE title bout.

Since then, Strowman wrestled two matches under real name Adam Scherr: a match with EC3 at Free the Narrative II in October, and tag match alongside EC3 at an indie event in Wisconsin one week ago.
