FTR Appear At ROH Final Battle, Confront The Briscoes
Where will the teams meet next?
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR appeared at ROH's Final Battle on Saturday night in Baltimore, where they had a confrontation with Jay and Mark Briscoe.
The Briscoes had just won their twelfth and potentially final ROH World Tag Team titles from Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. After the match, Jay talked about the end of this ROH era, but said it's not the end of the Briscoes, and challenged any team to come out and face them.
The lights went out, and when they came back on, FTR appeared. The two teams ended up brawling, with security running in to break it up.
The Briscoes and FTR had been exchanging words on social media over the past several weeks. With ROH talent free to sign elsewhere, stories emerged that Jay and Mark were backstage at the Richmond, VA episode of Dynamite on November 17.
FTR presently reign as AAA Tag Team champions, and are signed to AEW. The two most recently lost an AEW World Tag Team title bout with The Lucha Bros, which aired on Friday's Rampage.
