Former IMPACT Wrestling Talent Set To Retire Later This Year

A former IMPACT talent will retire this November

A former IMPACT Wrestling talent will call it a career later this year.

Following a match at GNPW Legends Never Die, Larry D announced that he will retire from pro wrestling after the promotion's show on November 4 in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Larry D picked up a win at Legends Never Die, teaming with Maxx Sledd & Paige Jones to defeat Derek James, Sinclair Octavious Bentley, & Tyler Lee.

A 21-year veteran, Larry D is most well known for his time in IMPACT Wrestling. He made his debut in the promotion back in October 2019 and he soon formed the XXXL tag team with Acey Romero. They remained a part of IMPACT's tag team division until May 2021 and after Romero's release, Larry briefly returned to IMPACT at the end of 2021 as Lawrence D. Larry then asked for and was granted his release in February 2022. He would have one more match for the promotion in March 2022 before exiting IMPACT.

Larry D has since made a couple of appearances in the National Wrestling Alliance. He has also performed on the indies, including in a loss to Jerry "The King" Lawler in October 2022.
