Former TNA Talent Jailed

Former IMPACT talent Crimson has been jailed

A former TNA Wrestling talent has been jailed.

Clarksville Today have reported that Anthony Mayweather, who wrestled as Crimson, has been jailed for violating an active order of protection. He was booked into the Montgomery County jail on March 8 after being charged with contempt. His bond has been set at $1,000.

Police conducted a welfare check on February 24 and discovered Mayweather had made several calls to his juvenile son's phone and sent several text messages to his wife, even while police were present. This resulted in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

Mayweather was previously jailed in 2016 after headbutting his wife.

Mayweather has been active in professional wrestling since 2007 and his most sustained run came in TNA Wrestling between 2010 and 2013 as Crimson. He even had a 470-day undefeated streak until he was defeated by James Storm at Slammiversary in 2012.

Crimson has made several returns to IMPACT since his release in 2013, wrestling as Mayweather. He most recently wrestled for IMPACT in the summer of 2020 in a loss to The North on Xplosion.

Mayweather was active in the National Wrestling Alliance in 2022, where he had a brief reign as NWA National Champion.
