Former WWE NXT Talent Joining MLW

Major League Wrestling are adding a new talent to the roster. 

According to Fightful Select, former WWE NXT talent Sloane Jacobs is joining MLW and she will compete in the promotion's women's featherweight division. 

Jacobs joined WWE and reported to the Performance Center in March 2022. She competed in the 2022 NXT Women's Breakout Tournament before Jacobs was released in November 2022 as part of a round of cuts to NXT that included the likes of Bodhi Hayward, Erica Yan, Damaris Griffin, and Ru Feng. The releases were reportedly due to a lack of progression from the talents, but Jacobs has since stated she found being in WWE "pointless." 

Jacobs has reverted back to being Notorious Mimi since her release and she has had 49 matches on the independents for the likes of GCW, Wrestling Open, Beyond Wrestling, and WrestlePro. She has also had two matches on Ring of Honor TV. 

Furthermore, Mimi was featured on the well-received Monster Factory show that aired on Apple TV+.
