Former WWE NXT UK Talent Invited To IMPACT Wrestling
IMPACT Wrestling have offered an invitation to a former WWE NXT UK talent
An inevitable part of the wrestling industry is that few jobs are 100% secured, with roster cuts inevitable at all major promotions. WWE in particular are notable for how efficient and ruthless they can be with their roster cuts, often releasing swathes of talent in one swoop.
One such name released by WWE in recent years was Xia Brookside, with the former NXT UK star released by the company in August 2022 due to the then impending scrapping of the brand.
However, Brookside has offers on the table, with IMPACT Wrestling Tommy Dreamer telling Brookside that if she can sort her visa issues then there is an opportunity for her in IMPACT, should Brookside want it.
Brookside was a guest on Busted Open Radio when Dreamer made the offer, with Brookside having earlier spoken of her WWE release:
“At first, it was a bit of, 'Oh no, I'm getting married in July,' so I was planning that and it was 'what am I going to do?' But the love and support I've received from the fanbase has come back to me, they're reaching out like, 'where are you going? What are you doing next?' Wrestlers have reached out to me. I'm ready to hit the ground running,” said Brookside.
The daughter of the respected Robbie Brookside, Xia Brookside was part of the WWE system from 2018 until 2022.
