Former WWE Star Wants To Join AEW
Could another former WWE star end up in AEW?

Whilst the AEW roster is stacked - and with more than its fair share of ex-WWE talent - there is one performer notable by their absence, that of CJ Perry, aka Lana.
Since Miro joined AEW in 2020 many fans have been waiting to see if Perry would rock up at her husband’s side, and now during an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Perry teased that she’d be open to an AEW run and has a score to settle with Julia Hart:
"Miro didn't tell me until after it debuted," said Perry about the recent Miro/Hart promo. “I was actually in Malibu, drinking a nice margarita. I'm not a jealous type of person, but I was furious. I wanted to literally show up and slap the s*** out of her. Then, I went on Twitter, and all the fans are putting GIFs of me taking my earrings off. I popped so hard. The fans know me. My sister is like 'calm down.' 'I'M FURIOUS! WHY DID SHE HAVE A BLAZER ON? I'M GONNA SLAP THE S*** OUT OF HER!' Hopefully, I get a chance to do that. She does all these cute pictures on Instagram and her vibe is very House of Black, then she shows up in a blazer. I will literally dropkick her in the face."
Perry continued, "I really can't go into much of anything. I'd love to do something with Miro in AEW. We'll see what happens."
The pair enjoyed great success in WWE as Rusev and Lana, with Rusev going on a tear as WWE US Champion in 2014/2015, with Lana pulling the strings. Miro was ultimately released by WWE in 2020, whilst Lana would follow suit in 2021.
