Former WWE Stars Backstage At TNA Wrestling Tapings, Others Make Debuts

There were several former WWE names at TNA Wrestling over the weekend

There has been a lot of movement over the last couple of months when it comes to those coming into TNA Wrestling, with the rebrand of the promotion bringing a wave of fresh faces and extra cameos. Following the 2024 Hard To Kill PLE, this trend doesn’t seem to be stopping, as some former WWE names have been showing up both backstage and at recent TNA Wrestling tapings.

Fightful Select have reported that former WWE superstars Mace & Mansoor were backstage at recent TNA Wrestling tapings, though they did not end up appearing in front of the live crowd. The pair have previously teased heading over to TNA on their livestreams and in interviews.

Elsewhere at tapings over the weekend per PWInsider, the former Simon Gotch of the Vaudevillians tag team in WWE appeared, attacking Josh Alexander following his match and starting a feud between the pair. Additionally, last night saw the TNA Wrestling debut of Big Damo, formerly known as Killian Dain in WWE. He was brought in to take on former Sanity ally Eric Young, though it wasn’t clear if he was sticking around in the company after this match.
