Former WWE Superstar Ariane Andrew Debuts In AEW, Will Compete In The Deadly Draw

The former Total Divas star is returning to the ring...

On last night's episode of Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling provided more details on the Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw. It was revealed during the broadcast that the tournament will begin on Monday on the young promotion's YouTube channel and the eight teams will be decided at random by drawing colours. All teams are final and cannot be appealed by the wrestlers.

The first tag team was confirmed last night as Nyla Rose revealed during a backstage interview that she had drawn purple. Dasha Gonzalez then said another wrestler had also drawn purple and former WWE Superstar Ariane Andrew appeared moments later and announced she was back.

Andrew previously competed in WWE from 2011 until 2016 under the ring name Cameron, but she hasn't wrestled since March 2016 when she teamed with Naomi and Tamina against Sasha Banks, Paige and Alicia Fox at a house show. The former Funkadactyl was scheduled to return to the ring at Effy's Big Gay Brunch during WrestleMania 36 week but the event was cancelled because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
