Back on the May 27 episode of Dynamite, FTR debuted in All Elite Wrestling and made the save for The Young Bucks. Many assumed they had signed long-term contracts with the young promotion but Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler later revealed they were working in AEW on a short-term handshake deal with Tony Khan.

That has now changed as The Top Guys officially signed with AEW on last night's edition of Dynamite. During the segment, Harwood and Wheeler were represented by Arn Anderson and their contracts included a couple of unique stipulations as a tag team rope will be present in all FTR matches and there will be a 10-second rule on double-team moves.

The tag team then signed their new contracts and they drank some cheap whiskey with "Hangman" Adam Page to celebrate.

Tony Khan announced soon after that FTR had signed multi-year deals with the promotion. Khan tweeted: "Welcome to #AEW officially, #FTR @CashWheelerFTR and @DaxHarwood. Thank you for signing your multiyear contracts tonight on #AEWDynamite."

The tag team had teased making a decision on their future earlier in the day after Cash Wheeler complained about not being included in AEW's official rankings, to which Khan reminded him that they wouldn't be ranked until they signed on the dotted line.
