Former WWE Superstar Neville Has "Gone Off The Grid & Hasn't Responded To Promoters"

The King of the Cruiserweights is delaying his in-ring return, it seems...

On 14 September, it was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that former WWE Superstar Neville was almost ready to start accepting bookings, and that the King of the Cruiserweights had already received offers from numerous independent promotions but he wasn't able to accept them just yet.

Now, however, in the latest edition of the Newsletter, Meltzer claims that Neville was in talks with some promotions, but has now gone "off the grid and hasn't responded to promoters as best we can tell."

Here's the full quote regarding Neville from Uncle Dave:

"People ask about Neville all the time and this is the situation as best we can tell. WWE said that he is free and clear and can wrestle anywhere. He was in talks with some promotions but told them he wasn’t ready to start yet, citing legal issues. He’s then completely gone off the grid and hasn’t responded to promoters as best we can tell. Will Ospreay wanted to do a singles match with him at Wrestle Kingdom but we have no idea if he’s up for that or anything in wrestling right now"

Neville has gone completely silent on social media since infamously walking out of an episode of WWE Raw last October after learning he would be losing to Enzo Amore. He's been spotted around Newcastle upon Tyne - his hometown in England - a couple of times since, with the latest happening in August at the at the Freeman Hospital in the city centre. The reddit user who spotted Neville at the hospital said he was "looking “jacked.”
