A former WWE Tag Team Champion during the company's Ruthless Aggression era is planned to make a brief return to WWE in the near future.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the belief at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida is that Doug Basham will be working as a guest coach at the facility in June. Basham is currently influential in Ohio Valley Wrestling and is a regular performer for the promotion that was recently purchased by Morley Sports Management.

Doug Basham was previously a part of WWE from 2003 until 2007 and he is a two-time WWE Tag Team Champion with brother Danny as The Basham Brothers. The tag team were part of JBL's Cabinet faction as John Bradshaw Layfield's co-Secretaries of Defence, along with the likes of Amy Weber and Orlando Jordan.

A former WWE Women's Champion who has been guest coaching at the WWE Performance Center recently is Jazz. Current full-time coaches include Matt Bloom, Wesley Blake, Oney Lorcan, Steve Corino, Fit Finlay, Johnny Moss, Norman Smiley, Robbie Brookside, Sara Amato, and Terry Taylor.
