WWE Money In The Bank 2026 Confirmed For New Orleans

New Orleans was set to host next year’s WrestleMania event in 2026, with WWE announcing a return to the city for the first time since WrestleMania 34. However, rumblings emerged over the prospect of WWE cancelling WrestleMania in New Orleans, and instead moving to an alternate location. 

It was noted in reports that the reasoning for this change was WWE’s desire to head back to Las Vegas for the second year in a row, as it was believed that they would not generate the same sort of money from running in New Orleans. This change would also see the planned date for WrestleMania pushed back also. After all these rumblings and rumors, it has now been officially announced that New Orleans will be hosting Money In The Bank 2026 instead, and an unspecified WrestleMania at a later date.

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took to social media to make the announcement that the premium live event would be coming to the city on August 29, 2026, which will mark the latest ever Money In The Bank in WWE’s yearly PLE calendar. There was reportedly some frustration within WWE over the sudden change in plans.
