Another recently released WWE talent has appeared in a Tony Khan-owned promotion.

Alongside a live episode of AEW Dynamite, Ring of Honor TV was taped at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday night, and Lacey Lane (FKA Kayden Carter in WWE) made her ROH debut at the taping. Lane's opponent at the taping is unknown as of the time of writing, but it was her first match since receiving her WWE release.

The former Kayden Carter was a part of WWE from 2018 until her release in May 2025 as part of roster cuts which included the likes of Dakota Kai, Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, and Carter's tag team partner Katana Chance.

While teaming with Katana Chance, Kayden Carter had one reign with the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships and one reign with the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.

Another former WWE talent in Isla Dawn debuted in All Elite Wrestling in August following her own WWE release in February. Dawn was in action at the AEW Collision taping in Glasgow, Scotland ahead of Forbidden Door, going one-on-one with Megan Bayne.
