Another former WWE name will be debuting for TNA Wrestling at the promotion's upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view.

PWInsider has reported the word making the rounds is the former WWE talent appearing at Slammiversary is a former multi-time singles champion, but WWE have had a lot of titles during the company's history so it could be anyone from Carlito to Jinder Mahal. The debut is unlikely to be a main roster WWE talent released after WrestleMania 42 as their 90-day non-compete clauses don't expire until around the end of July.

TNA Slammiversary will air from Boston's Agganis Arena on Sunday, June 28. It has an earlier start time of 3 pm ET, with the show avoiding going head-to-head with AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door and WWE NXT Great American Bash.

TNA Wrestling have a working relationship with WWE that has been active since May 2024, while a number of former WWE wrestlers are signed with TNA. Half of TNA’s current champions are actually former WWE wrestlers, including X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander, International Champion Mustafa Ali, Knockouts World Champion Lei Ying Lee, and one half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions in Brian Myers.

Other former WWE wrestlers on the roster include AJ Francis, Ash By Elegance, Elayna Black, Elijah, Fabian Aichner, Indi Hartwell, The Hardys, Mara Sadé, Nic Nemeth, Rich Swann, Ryan Nemeth, Santino Marella, and Daria Rae. TNA's broadcast team of Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt were also signed to WWE, as was ring announcer McKenzie Mitchell.
