Former WWE wrestler Daniel Rodimer was released on a $200,000 bond on Wednesday night after he turned himself in at the Clark County Detention Center in Nevada. This came after Las Vegas Police issued a warrant for Rodimer's arrest on the charge of open murder.

The warrant was issued in relation to the homicide of Christopher Tapp at Resorts World Las Vegas on October 29, 2023. The 47-year-old's death was ruled a homicide as a result of blunt force trauma to the head. Las Vegas Police noted in a press release that Tapp's passing occurred after an altercation inside a room at the resort. Tapp was later found and transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Rodimer is due back in court on April 10.

Rodimer performed for WWE from 2004 until 2007 following season four of Tough Enough. He only had three matches on the WWE main roster, all on episodes of Sunday Night Heat. At one point, plans were in place for Rodimer to join Edge and Randy Orton in Rated RKO but Rodimer was released in 2007 and retired from pro wrestling soon after.

Rodimer has ran for political office on multiple occasions. He won the Republican primary in 2020 for Nevada's 3rd congressional district in the House of Representatives. He received 45.8 percent of the vote in the 2020 election but lost to incumbent Susie Lee of the Democratic Party.
