Former WWE Talents Debut At AEW Dark Taping

Two ex-WWE wrestlers in AEW

Is Tony Khan adding more former WWE talents to All Elite Wrestling's roster?

AEW held their latest set of Dark tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, August 21, and two former WWE wrestlers made their first appearances in the promotion during the second session, F4W Online reported.

First up was former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Westin Blake (FKA Wesley Blake), who was defeated by Jericho Appreciation Society's Daniel Garcia in singles action.

The newly renamed Bear Country (now Iron Savages) then defeated Vary Morales and the former No Way Jose later in the tapings.

No Way Jose had a short run in IMPACT Wrestling last year following his WWE release in April of 2020 in which he teamed with Fallah Bahh. He has only wrestled twice in 2022, with two matches in DEFY last month.

Westin Blake has been more active, competing on the independent wrestling scene for the likes of Control Your Narrative and Texas' RCW since he was let go by WWE in April of 2021. He has also reformed his tag team with Steve Maclin as Prisoners of Society and they recently held the Pro Wrestling REVOLVER Tag Team Titles.
