Four More Matches Add To WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver

A United Kingdom Title match, An unsanctioned match & a gauntlet match....

A busy episode of NXT on Wednesday night saw four more matches added to the two-night NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver card, while a stipulation was added to an already confirmed bout.

Adam Cole and Kyle O'Relly signed a contract to face each other in an unsanctioned match at the event in two weeks' time. General manager William Regal oversaw the confrontation between the two Undisputed Era members, who have threatened to tear each other apart since Cole superkicked O'Reilly at the end of NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day last month.

Regal would confirm that O'Relly still was not cleared to wrestle after Cole's assault and therefore the only way Regal would sign off on the fight is if it was with no rules and no liability on NXT, hence the unsanctioned stipulation.

WALTER will defend the United Kingdom Championship against Tommaso Ciampa. After the Ring General dispatched of Drake Maverick on NXT, Ciampa confronted him and demanded a match at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. After WALTER and Imperium attacked the former NXT Champion, the challenge was accepted, with WWE confirming the match will take place on Night One.

Also on Night One of Stand & Deliver, NXT will crown new Tag Team Champions. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan were forced to vacate the titles and Regal announced on NXT that MSK (Wes Lee & Nash Carter), Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson), and Legado Del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza) will compete in a triple threat match to crown the new champions.

A gauntlet match was also added to Night One of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, with the winner getting a shot at Johnny Gargano's North American Championship on Night Two. Six superstars will take part, with the participants being determined in a Battle Royal on NXT next week. The six gauntlet match contestants will be determined from: Dexter Lumis, Bronson Reed, Leon Ruff, Roderick Strong, LA Knight, Pete Dunne, Roderick Strong, Tyler Rust, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Jake Atlas, Cameron Grimes, and Austin Theory.

Finally, the Cruiserweight Championship Unification match between Jordan Devlin and Santos Escobar was given an added stipulation by WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels. After Devlin defeated Kushida on Wednesday, and was confronted by Escobar, Michaels walked down to the ring and slid a ladder in between the two superstars.
