Fox Reportedly Looking For 3.3 Million Views From WWE SmackDown Live - Currently Getting Just Below 2 Million On USA Network

WWE need to find more viewers from somewhere...

We're gradually finding out more and more about WWE's massive deal with Fox. Recently, reports online have suggested that Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey will be moving over to the blue brand to fit in with a more sports orientated product, the brand extension will be staying as it is, and Daniel Cormier is wanted to fill a commentator's role.

Now, we've potentially learned what kind of viewing figures Fox is looking to garner from WWE's soon-to-be flagship show. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that he's heard Fox are looking for around 3.3 million viewers from SmackDown Live.

This week's SD Live - which included Mustafa Ali vs. Daniel Bryan, and the WrestleMania rematch between Charlotte Flair and Asuka where Becky Lynch got involved to help close the show - posted 1.977 million a day after Raw posted another record-low rating.

Meltzer also notes that he expects to see a 25% increase in viewership figures when SmackDown completes the move to Fox in October due to the fact that the channel is available in more homes.
