Freddie Prinze Jr. Makes Offer To Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt to the indies?

Scooby-Doo star and former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. has confirmed he made a "creative offer" to Bray Wyatt to join his start-up promotion.

Speaking on Wrestling with Freddie, Prinze admitted that he added sweeteners to the deal but it doesn't look like Wyatt will accept.

"Financially, I wouldn't be able to compete with WWE, but I put other things in there that are more important to Bray. I don't think I'm going to get it as the weeks go on, but we'll see," Prinze said.

The Hollywood star also revealed that Wyatt would have been a central figure in the promotion.

Instead, Wyatt looks set to make his return to WWE. The company has been running White Rabbit teases in recent weeks and it is widely believed within WWE they are for the two-time Universal Champion's return. The White Rabbit is expected to be revealed at Extreme Rules on October 8.

Wyatt's likely rejection comes only a couple of months after Prinze missed out on Karrion Kross, who was set to be his promotion's first champion. Kross returned to WWE in August following the regime change within the company that saw Triple H become Chief Content Officer.
