FTR Reveal Their Goals For The Future

FTR have been one of the leading names in AEW’s tag team division ever since signing with the company, winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships on two occasions, and also picking up the AAA, IWGP, and ROH Tag Team Titles during that time too. On the way, they’ve had standout matches and feuds, staking their claim to being one of the best duos of all time. 

When looking ahead, FTR do want to continue winning title gold, but with their bodies not being in as good of a condition as they once were, they have other goals to accomplish too, as noted by the pair in an interview with Jeff Snyder. 

"Of course, our goal is to continue to be the greatest tag team of all time, but there comes a time when your body and physically you start to break down a bit. I don't want to say we're breaking down, but there's going to come a time where we cannot perform at the level that we are now, so I think, for me at least, our goal is to continue to help build AEW, continue to help build with the young guys that we have as the base of AEW and continue to push that youth movement that we need to carry on our legacy.”

Dax Harwood continued by saying that once they’re gone, other teams will need to step up and take their place, so he wants to work hard on establishing that future. Cash Wheeler would also note that the pair were vying to win titles they’ve never held, so are wanting to further push cooperation with other companies like TNA to potentially gain success there.
