Full Card For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13 Revealed & New US Tour Announced

Headlined by Kenny Omega vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi...

New Japan Pro Wrestling has revealed the full card for January 4's Wrestle Kingdom 13 event. On top of that, the company have also announced a new tour of the United States happening in the early part of 2019.

As for WK13, it looks like the traditional New Japan Rumble and tag-team gauntlet that open the yearly spectacular have been replaced. Instead, there will be a gauntlet where the winning team will be the number one contenders for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Championships - titles currently held by Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) and Taiji Ishimori.

As for the new 2019 tour, it's going to be called The New Beginning USA and will consist of two shows happening in Los Angeles, CA and Charlotte, NC.

  • Wednesday January 30, 8:30 PM in Los Angeles, CA at the Globe Theatre

  • Friday February 1, 7:30 PM in Charlotte, NC at the Grady Cole Center


Tickets for both events go on sale on Saturday 22 December on njpw1972.com.
