Further Details On Chuck Palumbo Turning Down AEW Appearance

More on Chuck Palumbo turning down an AEW appearance

The current wrestling scene is very exciting, as anyone can seemingly show up anywhere, with surprises common occurrences across WWE, AEW, and TNA.

One name who seemingly won’t be appearing in a wrestling ring anytime soon is Chuck Palumbo, with the former WCW and WWE star having turned down the opportunity to appear for AEW.

Anthony Bowens previously revealed he wanted to ‘gift’ Chuck to his former tag partner Billy Gunn on AEW TV, and during an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Gunn himself spoke more about Palumbo’s current state of mind:

"He just has no desire right now. He has all his other stuff going on. I've asked him to do a couple of things. He just, it’s not that he won't do it for me, it's just not him anymore. The boys wanted him to come do my birthday celebration when we did the birthday thing. I called and asked him and he's got so much other stuff going on that he's okay that he doesn't do any of the wrestling, and I get it," Gunn said.

A former six-time world tag team champion across WCW and WWE, Palumbo last wrestled in 2012, and has since gone on to build and repair custom motorcycles and automobiles.
