Future ROH World Championship Match Set

Eddie Kingston's next challenger has been decided

Eddie Kingston is looking to stack up some more victories in his Ring Of Honor World Championship reign, and his next challenger seems to have been decided. On this week’s ROH programming, Kingston defeated Serpentico in a Proving Ground match (an eliminator), doing so in quick fashion, disposing of the masked man in under two minutes.

Following the match, Serpentico SAP teammate Angelico came to check on him, and this led to a face-off between him and the champion. Angelico stepped up and decided to challenge Kingston to the gold, to which Kingston gladly accepted with a handshake. No date has been announced, but it looks as though this will be the next defence lined up for Kingston.

Kingston won the ROH World Championship at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, going over his long-term rival Claudio Castganoli. In the time since, he has outlasted a sea of notable opponents including Komander, NJPW’s Minoru Suzuki, and ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata, proving himself to be a regular fighting champion.
