Conflicting Reports On ROH Running The Hammerstein Ballroom
Don't expect to see ROH back in its old home
Is Ring of Honor running the Hammerstein Ballroom once again? Probably not. The last 24 hours have seen conflicting reports on where an upcoming ROH PPV in December will be taking place.
It was initially stated by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that ROH’s annual Final Battle event could be taking place on December 19 from the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. ROH would previously use this arena for many of its major shows, including some of their weekly content too, carrying on the legacy from the likes of ECW. The last time they visited this venue was in 2019.
However, Meltzer has made an amendment in a Daily Update to this previous report by stating that the ROH Final Battle show will be taking place, but it will not be at the Hammerstein Ballroom as was previously claimed. It isn’t known where ROH will be hosting their next major PPV show, and thus far now matches have been announced either, with the event still a couple of months away.
