GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 6: Josh Barnett Battles Jon Moxley
Moxley and Barnett went into the bout undefeated at Bloodsport
One of the few high profile independent shows running in the build-up to WrestleMania 37 this year was GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 6.
The MMA inspired wrestling show continued regardless, and saw former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and Josh Barnett do battle in the main event, airing on FITE TV.
Heading into the show Moxley was undefeated at Bloodsport, defeating Chris Dickinson and Davey Boy Smith Jr. on previous Bloodsport cards. Barnett too was undefeated, having a time limit draw with Minoru Suzuki, and a win over Chris Dickinson at previous events.
The match was a wild and brutal affair, with both men bleeding profusely. However, it was Barnett who emerged victorious, winning by ref stoppage after stamping on Moxley’s head.
