GCW To Make Korakuen Hall Debut In October

GCW heading to Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall in October

Game Changer Wrestling have announced that they are to run an event in Tokyo’s legendary Korakuen Hall on October 12, a debut in the arena for the promotion.

GCW announced the news on their official Twitter page, posting the following:

“It's time to make history... again…#GCWJapan"

Korakuen Hall has been host to many memorable cards in Japanese wrestling history, with the likes of New Japan Pro Wrestling, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, STARDOM, Pro Wrestling Zero1, and Pro Wrestling NOAH all having run the hall.

GCW have ran shows in Japan regularly since making their debut in the country in 2019. No matches have been announced for the Korakuen Hall show as of writing, but the event on October 12 will be streaming live on Fite+. It is also unknown what the event will be called.

First opened in 1962, Korakuen Hall holds over 2000 spectators for pro-wrestling and combat sport shows, and is located in Tokyo’s Tokyo Dome City.
