Gene Snitsky Backstage At WWE Raw

A former WWE talent was backstage at this week's episode of Monday Night Raw from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. 

Gene Snitsky revealed on Twitter that he was backstage at the show, posting a photo of him and his wife with Tamina. 

"@TaminaSnuka great seeing you tonight!!!!! #Itsnotmyfault My wife @mrssnisky1 thought you were so nice..... safe travels @WWE @WWEUniverse @WWENetwork #priorityonesurplus," Snitsky tweeted.

Snitsky was a mainstay on WWE TV in 2004 and 2005, debuting on the main roster in a feud with Kane where he caused Lita to have a miscarriage. Snitsky then repeatedly claimed that it wasn't his fault, even punting a baby doll on an episode of Raw. Kane would ultimately win the feud, defeating Snitsky at New Year's Revolution 2005. The big man also later had a foot fetish on TV. 

Snitsky was granted his release by WWE in 2009. He performed on the independent scene for the ensuing 11 years, with his final match taking place in October 2020. He also had one match in TNA Wrestling in 2014 before being fired.
