Gunther sticking with WWE

Gunther won't be exiting WWE anytime soon.
Following reports that Gunther was close to inking a new deal with WWE, Dave Meltzer has noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Gunther is believed to have at least agreed to terms on a new contract and he may have already put pen to paper on a new deal.
Gunther is currently one of the top stars in WWE as the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. He has been a part of the company since 2019 and has been booked strongly ever since, first holding the NXT UK Championship for over 800 days. Upon moving to the main roster, Gunther held the Intercontinental Title for 666 days before losing the belt to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40.
Since then, Gunther has won King of the Ring and captured the World Heavyweight Title from Damian Priest at SummerSlam.
Gunther's next scheduled title defence will be against Finn Balor at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. Another name under discussion for the show is Hulk Hogan.
