Eric Bischoff made his first-ever appearance on WWE NXT this week as he was part of the final build to Trick Williams vs. Ridge Holland for the NXT Championship at Deadline.

Bischoff was part of the face-to-face between Holland and the NXT Champion, with the segment ultimately coming to an end after Ridge planted Williams with a DDT on the announce table. This has left Trick's status for the December 7 match up in the air.

Bischoff's appearance was simply a one-off, according to Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda. The former Senior Vice President of World Championship Wrestling is not currently scheduled for any further appearances on WWE programming.

"Eric Bischoff's NXT appearance was a one-off, and he is currently not scheduled for any upcoming WWE appearances, I have been informed," Featherstone tweeted.

Bischoff's appearance on WWE NXT was not part of a long-term plan and actually came together as Bischoff was scheduled to be in Orlando anyway for a Peacock project. He then headed to New York on Thursday to serve as the host of MLW One Shot.
