Gunther Calls The Miz His Second Most Important WWE Feud

After Sheamus, current Intercontinental Champion Gunther considers his feud with The Miz to be his second most important feud in WWE (thus far).

Der Ring General and The A-Lister have been engaged in a rivalry over the past couple of months, with Gunther successfully retaining his title at Survivor Series and on the December 18 episode of Raw.

Speaking with Busted Open Radio, Gunther noted how working with The Miz has been to his benefit, saying:

“The promo I had with Miz was fantastic for myself. I enjoy being in the ring with guys that have a similar style of me, but I even more enjoy the challenge of being with somebody that is completely different, and Miz is a polar opposite to what I am. The guy has been in the company for 20 years, he's an absolute pro. I feel like maybe aside from the thing I did at the beginning with Sheamus, the programme I had with Miz is the thing that's benefited me the most so far". 

Gunther had previously labelled Miz as the 'embodiment' of a WWE era he didn't like to watch.
