Hangman Page & CM Punk Come Face-To-Face On AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page and CM Punk have a staredown on AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page and CM Punk went face-to-face on Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Punk defeated Dustin Rhodes in the show's opening contest and following the match, The Second City Saviour made his way up the ramp, once again signalling that he wanted a shot at the AEW World Championship.

Hangman Page's entrance music then filled the arena and the AEW World Champion had a staredown with Punk on the stage.

The 43-year-old Punk has made belt motions around his waist ever since he defeated MJF at the Revolution pay-per-view in March and the former ROH World Champion recently announced he wanted to challenge whoever came out on top in Hangman Page and Adam Cole's Texas Death Match on April 15.

When exactly Punk and Hangman will face off for the AEW World Title has not been revealed but Double Or Nothing is scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 29.

Hangman Page has been AEW World Champion since he defeated Kenny Omega for the gold at Full Gear in November 2021. He has successfully defended the title against Bryan Danielson, Lance Archer, Dante Martin, and Adam Cole so far.
