Hangman Page & Young Bucks Reunion Teased On AEW Dynamite
Could The Hung Bucks reunite in AEW?
No sooner had AEW officially announced the long-awaited Trios Championships, then we got a tease of a major reunion on Dynamite as relations between The Young Bucks and Hangman Page seem to be slowly healing.
The Bucks were backstage with Brandon Cutler discussing the trios titles on July 27 when they ran into Page, with three exchanging awkward pleasantries until The Dark Order appeared to celebrate Hangman’s birthday with him as The Jacksons made their excuses and left.
Long-time viewers of BTE will have seen this slowly unfolding for weeks now, with Hangman and The Bucks both seemingly looking to mend their friendship after its dissolution in 2020, with The Bucks seemingly taking the first step at Full Gear 2021 when Hangman defeated Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship as The Bucks refused to interfere.
The trio formally teamed as The Hung Bucks in ROH, where they had one reign as ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions for over 200 days across 2017/2018. When AEW began, the three were allied with Kenny Omega and Cody Rhodes as The Elite, until relations between Hangman and Matt Jackson especially started to sour during Page's AEW World Tag Team Championship run with Omega in 2020.
