Hangman Page Match Set For AEW Dynamite
Hangman Page will face a DDT talent next week
Several matches have been announced for next week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW World Champion Hangman Page will be in action on the show and it was revealed he will go one-on-one with Konosuke Takeshita. CM Punk will be on commentary for the match.
The Owen Hart Foundation tournaments will also continue. Adam Cole and Jeff Hardy picked up wins in their first-round matches and they will square off in the semifinal next week. On the other side of the bracket, Kyle O'Reilly will take on Rey Fenix while Samoa Joe will face a Joker 'mystery opponent' in first-round bouts.
Britt Baker, meanwhile, will battle her own Joker mystery opponent in her first-round contest.
Ahead of their match at Double Or Nothing, MJF will give Wardlow 10 lashes, similar to what Friedman did to Cody Rhodes in 2020.
Chris Jericho and William Regal will also have a face-to-face confrontation. Regal decked Jericho on Wednesday's Dynamite after Blackpool Combat Club backed up Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz against the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Next week's episode of Dynamite will air live on TBS on Wednesday, May 18.
