Hangman Page's Next AEW Programme Revealed On Dynamite

AEW Dynamite saw Hangman Page enter a new feud

The September 6 edition of AEW Dynamite saw new programmes and feuds begin after the events of All In and All Out over the previous 14 days.

One AEW star who found themselves with a new challenge was Hangman Page, with the former AEW World Champion coming off a pre-show battle royal win at All Out.

On Dynamite, Page was interviewed in the ring by Tony Schiavone, with Hangman talking about his experiences as a school teacher, before putting over teachers across the world for their service. Page was then interrupted by Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, with Strickland criticising Page for falling down the pecking order, not competing for top titles, losing his motivation, and for ‘taking a back seat’ to Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks in The Elite because he got comfortable.

Swerve said if he had the opportunities Page had he’d already have become the first ever black AEW World Champion, then challenged Hangman to a match and got him fired up, only for Mogul Embassy teammate Brian Cage to attack out of nowhere, nailing Page with a Powerbomb and a Drill Claw.

No date has been set for a match between the two, with AEW’s next major show coming in Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 20 for Grand Slam III. Hangman Page will take on Brian Cage next week.
