SPOILER: Wrestlers Advance In The Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament On Rampage

Who advanced on AEW Rampage?

The Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament continued on Wednesday night's taping of AEW Rampage and two wrestlers advanced to the semi-finals following their wins. The matches will air on Friday, September 8 at 10 pm ET on TNT in the United States.

Penta El Zero Miedo faced Jay Lethal in the opening contest of Rampage and it was the Lucha Brother who picked up the win to advance in the tournament. Penta will face Samoa Joe in the semi-finals following the ROH World Television Champion's win over Jeff Hardy in the main event of AEW Rampage.

Both semi-final matches will take place on Saturday's episode of AEW Collision. Outside of Samoa Joe vs. Penta El Zero Miedo, Roderick Strong will go one-on-one with Darby Allin. Allin defeated Nick Wayne on Dynamite, while Roderick Strong picked up a win over Trent Beretta.

The final of the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament will take place on the September 13 edition of Dynamite. The winner will challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at Dynamite Grand Slam on September 20.

MJF has been AEW World Champion since Full Gear in November 2022. He has so far defended the belts against the likes of Ricky Starks, Bryan Danielson, and Adam Cole.
