Hangman Page's Next AEW World Title Defence Revealed

Hangman Page will defend the AEW World Title next week

Hangman Page's next AEW World Title defence is only one week away.

It was announced on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite that The Anxious Millenial Cowboy will put the gold on the line on next week's edition of Rampage from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

Page will defend the title against Adam Cole in a Texas Death Match.

The match came about on last night's edition of Dynamite after Hangman confronted Cole following the former NXT Champion's win over Christian Cage. Cole said he wanted nothing to do with Page until he received a title match, which the AEW World Champion granted him.

Hangman Page and Cole have been feuding for the last couple of months and the AEW World Champion successfully defended his title against his fellow Adam at the Revolution pay-per-view.

Hangman has been AEW World Champion since he defeated Kenny Omega at Full Gear 2021. Outside of his match with Cole, Page has successfully defended the gold against Bryan Danielson and Lance Archer, also in a Texas Death Match.
