Hank Walker Signs WWE Contract On NXT

Hank Walker signed an NXT contract on last night's show

Hank Walker officially signed a WWE contract on last night's episode of NXT.

The supposed 'security guard' has been seen on NXT 2.0 in recent weeks, feuding with Javier Bernal. The two faced off in a singles match on last night's show, with Walker emerging victorious.

In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Walker was shown celebrating his win with some security guards. He was then approached by WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels, who offered him an NXT contract. Bernal interrupted and claimed Walker's win was a fluke, but big Hank signed the contract anyway, meaning he is officially an NXT superstar.

Hank Walker made his in-ring debut on an NXT live event on June 8. He has since made a couple of appearances on NXT Level Up.

Real name Joe Sculthorpe, Walker is a former college football player and signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent. He signed a WWE developmental deal in March and has been training at the Performance Center since.
