Happy Corbin Calls Go-Away Heat A ‘Make-Believe Term’

Happy Corbin doesn't believe in 'go away heat' apparently

‘Go away heat’, ‘X-Pac Heat’, call it what you want, that adverse reaction to a wrestler that’s not a reaction to a particular bad deed or punishable sin, but simply because fans don’t want to see the performer in the ring.

It can be a death knell for a character, and can be a noose for any wrestler, but according to Happy Corbin, there’s no such thing:

“That’s a make-believe term… go-away heat would be silence cause they wouldn’t care; they don’t want to see you,” Corbin said during an appearance on Bleav In Pro Wrestling. “When my music hits, that’s the difference. People have to sometimes go out there and do something to get booed. The second my music hits, they are booing.

Corbin continued, “That is when you have, that is when people don’t like you. It doesn’t take me punching John Cena in the face and going out and telling the crowd I’m better than John Cena to get booed. It is the second my music hits. It’s like the second Randy Orton’s music hits, the building goes nuts. That man is over. And there’s no one that can argue that point. It’s the music. When the music hits, and there is a reaction, they’re doing something right.”
