Report: Montez Ford "Knocked Loopy" On WWE Raw
It was feared Montez Ford had suffered a broken nose
Montez Ford suffered an injury on Monday's episode of Raw from Madison Square Garden.
Ford was in action in the main event, teaming with Street Profits partner Angelo Dawkins and Riddle in a six-man tag against The Usos and Roman Reigns, and Montez was "knocked loopy" during the match, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Ford ultimately shook off the issue and he continued to perform until the match came to an end following a Roman Reigns Spear to Riddle.
It was feared after the match that Ford had suffered a broken nose but he is expected to still be in action at SummerSlam on Saturday, July 30.
Ford is scheduled to team with Angelo Dawkins on the show and The Street Profits will challenge The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. The two teams have been feuding in recent months and they faced off at Money In The Bank, a match which ended with The Usos retaining despite Ford's shoulder being off the mat.
As a result of the issue at Money In The Bank, Jeff Jarrett has been installed as special guest referee for Saturday's contest.
