Harlem Heat To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Can you dig that?

Booker T can now call himself a two-time, two-time WWE Hall of Famer.

USA Today has reported that Booker T and brother Stevie Ray, tag team partners under several names, most famously Harlem Heat in WCW, are being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame's class of 2019.

Booker also confirmed the induction on Twitter, saying, "Thank you @WWE for this incredible honor and thank you to all the fans of #HarlemHeat! #HallofFame"

The induction, as noted, marks the second for Booker, who went into the Hall individually in 2013. Stevie Ray was his brother's inductor on that night.

As Harlem Heat, Booker and Stevie won the WCW World Tag Team titles ten times (a company record) between 1994 and 1999. Before signing with WCW in 1993, the two wrestled as The Huffman Brothers in Ivan Putski's Western Wrestling Alliance, and as The Ebony Experience in Dallas' Global Wrestling Federation. In GWF, Booker and Stevie held the promotion's Tag Team titles on three occasions.

The two teamed together one last time on February 21, 2015 in Booker's Houston-based Reality of Wrestling promotion.

The total class for 2019 includes Harlem Heat, D-Generation X, The Honky Tonk Man, and Torrie Wilson.
