Hollyhood Haley J Reveals Why She Didn't Attend WWE Tryout

Hollyhood Haley J was set to receive a look from WWE earlier this year, having been listed as a participant at the company's tryout at the WWE Performance Center in September. The OVW star was pulled from the tryout, though, "due to reasons related to medical paperwork." 

Appearing on Cafe De Rene with Rene Dupree, Haley J has revealed she wasn't cleared for the tryout as she has epilepsy. 

"I have epilepsy and my doctor is not trying to clear me to wrestle. My doctor. Of course, they were like, 'We need a clearance letter.' My doctor was like, 'No.' I'm in the process of finding another doctor to get a second opinion. I haven't had a seizure in over six years. Been off medication for four, been wrestling for almost four years, haven't had any issues. I don't know why they won't work with me. Waiting on a second opinion. Then, I should be right back up at the top where I belong," Haley J said.

The OVW Women's Champion revealed she hasn't suffered a seizure since she started smoking weed. Haley J was a featured talent on 'Wrestlers', the docuseries about OVW on Netflix. She has been a part of OVW since 2020. 

OVW's Al Snow recently spoke to Cultaholic's Tom Campbell about his plans for the promotion and 'Wrestlers.'
