Homicide Thinks Eddie Kingston Will Be The Next AEW World Champion
Homicide has high hopes for Eddie Kingston
Apr 26, 2022
Since debuting in All Elite Wrestling back in 2020, Eddie Kingston has cemented himself as one of the promotion's most popular talents, having memorable promos and matches with the likes of CM Punk, Jon Moxley, and Chris Jericho.
Such is Kingston's popularity that many wouldn't mind seeing him have a run with the AEW World Championship.
If The Mad King will ever capture the gold ultimately remains to be seen but Homicide revealed on the Battleground Podcast that he is confident Kingston will be the next AEW World Champion.
"I'm so happy for him. He's getting his flowers and I'm very, very confident that he's going to be the next AEW Champion of the world. I'm not talking about the secondary belt or the tag belt. I'm talking about he's going to be the number one man of that company. I'm really happy for this dude. He deserves it," Homicide said.
Hangman Page is the current AEW World Champion and looks set to defend the gold next against CM Punk. Kingston, meanwhile, is involved in a programme with The Jericho Appreciation Society.
