HOOK Receives Storyline AEW Suspension

HOOK pulled from AEW TV

HOOK has been hooked from All Elite Wrestling programming.

It was announced by Tony Schiavone on the February 15 edition of AEW Dynamite that HOOK had been suspended by the promotion pending an investigation into an incident last week with Stokely Hathaway of The Firm.

Stokely Hathaway was attacked by HOOK last week and Hathaway has claimed The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil broke his hand, demanding HOOK be fired by All Elite Wrestling. How long HOOK will be off TV is currently unknown, but a match with The Firm at Revolution on March 5 appears to be the likely outcome.

HOOK has been feuding with The Firm in recent months since he successfully defended the FTW Championship in a match with Lee Moriarty in November. HOOK has since formed JungleHOOK with "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry. They have picked up wins in tag team action in 2023 against The Firm, first defeating Lee Moriarty and Big Bill on January 11 before they vanquished Ethan Page and Matt Hardy on January 25.
