HOOK Wants To Become AEW World Champion

HOOK for the gold? Who is going to tell him "no"?

One of the success stories of 2022 has been that of HOOK, with the second generation star becoming a cult sensation in AEW.

Currently undefeated in all competition, and enjoying a popular on-screen pairing with fellow cult hero Danhuasen, HOOK has his eyes set on domination, revealing his goals to GQ:

"I want to be the AEW World Champion. That's it. That's the goal. But outside of wrestling, I plan to delve into some other markets—design or artistic directing, I also want to look at acting and modelling," HOOK said.

The Team Taz member made his official AEW in-ring debut on December 2021 with a victory over Fuego del Sol, the enormity of the situation was not lost on HOOK.

"I still struggle to put it into words. It was such a surreal feeling. With all the hype that was built up before the debut, I definitely felt an intense amount of pressure. But I've been an athlete my entire life. I've had to deal with pressure before. So I didn't feel scared. I felt ready to attack,” HOOK continued.
