Hulk Hogan Helps Rescue Driver From Overturned Vehicle

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan helped rescue a driver from a Tampa car accident.

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan helped rescue a driver from an overturned vehicle last night in Tampa, according to a report by TMZ.

The report details how Hogan and a US Marine friend named Jake witnessed the incident before rushing to help the driver, an unnamed 17 year old. Hogan's wife, Sky Dailey, posted the following:

"Last night, after we left dinner in Tampa, we saw a car flip in front of us! I truly admire my husband @hulkhogan and our good buddy @jakerask for springing into action, puncturing the girl's airbag and getting her quickly out of the car. By all appearances she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle!"

Hogan himself also tweeted an update, posting:

"The crazy part about the teenager that flipped her car was that without a knife to puncture the airbags to get her out, an Indian Rocks Christian ballpoint pen came in really handy to pop the bags. Thank you God, all is well even now, Amen HH."

WWE are approaching 40 years since Hogan's defeat of the Iron Sheik on January 23, 1984 - a match which saw him become champion for the first time, and is often regarded as the starting point of 'Hulkamania.' WWE are reportedly set to release new merchandise the mark the occasion, while a TV appearance by Hogan is said to not be out of the equation (although seemingly not planned at the time of writing.)
